Prince George just might be the most well-mannered 11-year-old we know. And, sure, perhaps that’s fitting given that the tween is second in line to the British throne. But we still weren’t prepared for what he wanted his dad Prince William to tell a beloved reality TV star.
Prince William — who also shares kids Princess Charlotte, 9 and Prince Louis, 6 with wife Kate Middleton — recently met with farmer Kaleb Cooper from the show Clarkson’s Farm. Prince George is reportedly a fan of the Amazon Prime show, and Prince William felt inclined to share that tidbit — even if it came with an unexpected addendum.
“You’ve got George watching now,” the Prince of Wales told Cooper, per Hello. “I said to him, ‘What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?’”
“He said, ‘Tell Kaleb to mind his language.’”

Mind! His! Language! Can you imagine? Given the chance, most kids would gush over their favorite TV stars and shower them with endless compliments. But Prince George is not “most kids.” He is the future monarch, and, as such, he had some advice about manners.
Cooper took the young royal’s advice in stride, owning up to and joking about how much he swears on the show.
“I did get told off for swearing too much … I tried to stop, but at the same time, it’s awesome,” he said of the fact that Prince George is watching. “That’s what I like about the whole show … I’ve had so many people thank me, going, ‘You brought the family together.’ It’s a great feeling.”
His co-star Charlie Irland agreed, “It’s great because it’s meant to bring everyone together, isn’t it – on the family sofa.”
Given his stance on NSFW language, we wonder how Prince Geroge will feel about inheriting a “party town” where there must be an excessive amount of F bombs.
Last week, news was recirculating about how Prince George is set to inherit so much more than “just” a crown. When his dad becomes King, Prince George will take over the Duchy of Cornwall — a hereditary estate that was first established by King Edward III in 1337 and is granted to the heir.
The Duchy of Cornwall extends across 23 counties in England and Wales and includes the Cornish town of Newquay.
According to Express, the coastal haven is one of Britain’s “most renowned party towns.” In the early aughts, it was a popular choice for “stag dos and hen parties” (AKA bachelor and bachelorette trips). It’s a tradition that we assume Prince George will probably let continue … so long as everyone “minds their language.”
